george fox university is a christ-centered university noted for its academic excellence. founded in 1891 by early quaker pioneers, it has grown to a community of more than 3,000 students, faculty and staff. central to its mission is a residential campus in newberg, oregon, where traditional undergraduate students live and learn. over the years, however, the university's mission has expanded, and now a george fox education is available in graduate, seminary, and degree-completion programs for working adults -- and at a variety of locations.
