Request for Qualified Pool for
Certified Interpreter Services

Description:

The purpose of this Request for Qualified Pool (RQP) is to execute a contract(s) with one (1) or more agencies and/or individuals who are certified to provide interpreter services. Proposers shall be interpreters who are certified and/or trained according to professional and ethical standards, and are experienced working with private and public organizations, program staff and clients from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.

Scope of Work:

The County may request interpreter services to be provided on-demand or scheduled,as applicable. The scope of work for this Request for Qualified Pool encompasses:

• On-demand over the phone interpretation
• Scheduled over the phone interpretation
• On-demand video remote interpretation, and/or
• Interpreters for the D/deaf and Hard of Hearing (American Sign Language)

Onsite interpretation and scheduled video remote interpretation are not included in this scope of work. Certified interpreter services for Deschutes County Health Services are not included in this scope of work.
