The City of West Linn is accepting applications from attorneys with a minimum of three years experience to provide legal services to the City as the City Prosecutor. The selected attorney will represent the City in misdemeanor cases as well as in violation proceedings when the defendant is represented by an attorney. The ideal candidate will have jury and bench trial experience and knowledge of Oregon Criminal law, including the Oregon Vehicle Code, the Oregon Criminal Code, and Oregon Evidence Code. Familiarity with Oregon State Police administrative rules; Department of Motor Vehicles rules and procedures; and municipal code enforcement are also essential.
