Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of an in house QTOF MS system from Agilent Technologies as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and its ability to meet compatibility requirements of an existing line of equipment. System must have a mass range of 50-30,000 amu, contain low thermal expansion rate material, feature ion beam compression technology that enables simultaneous maximum sensitivity and mass resolution performance without having to change mass resolution modes to achieve the spec requested, include an autotune specific for large molecules, include automated data analysis for the following workflows: Intact Protein Analysis,Peptide Sequence Mapping and Glycan Profiling and be compatible with eMSion's ExD cell. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
