Smith Intake Gate & Hoist Refurbishment
The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) requests bids for removal of machinery and equipment,
refurbishing, purchase of new equipment, painting, installing, and testing.

NOTE: NDA can be found in the attachments with the bid document.

Bidders shall meet Minimum Contractor and Specialty Subcontractor Qualifications as defined in the
bid packages.

Bidders shall comply with all BOLI and CCB requirements, as outlined in www.oregon.gov/BOLI and
http://www.oregon.gov/ccb/Pages/index.aspx .

The bid package may be inspected online on the State of Oregon's bid site ("ORPIN"):
https://orpin.oregon.gov. (For navigation help, contact the Purchasing Analyst.) Per the Table of
Contents, additional informational documents may be obtained by requesting them from the Purchasing
Department, along with a signed non-disclosure agreement (which can be downloaded from the bid
site) and submitting to Sandra Hahn at Sandra.hahn@eweb.org .

Bid Submission Deadline: Sealed bids shall be submitted to Sandra Hahn, Purchasing Analyst, before
2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, on April 11, 2019 and delivered according to the bid submission
instructions contained in the bid solicitation document. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter
and recorded.

First-tier subcontractor list (Section 00430) shall be submitted, preferably in a separate envelope
by 4:00 PM PST, on April 11, 2019.

Bids and required subcontractor's list received after their respective deadlines will NOT be
considered. No faxed bids will be accepted.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 12:30 p.m., on March 27, 2019, at the Carmen Smith
Project Office, located at 59727 HWY 126, McKenzie Bridge, OR 97413. (Please RSVP.) Attendance is
mandatory for the general contractor bidders. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend, but their
attendance is not mandatory.

By submission of a bid, the bidder agrees to comply with the provisions of 279C.800 through
279C.870 relating to the latest version of State of Oregon's BOLI Prevailing Wage Rates.

Sandra Hahn, Purchasing Analyst, in writing via email at Sandra.hahn@eweb.org . DO NOT contact the
project team without prior approval by the Purchasing Analyst.
