Notice to Suppliers
Pursuant to ORS 279B.055 and City of Eugene Administrative Order 44-23-01-F, Public Contracting Rule 137-047-0255, sealed bids for Vegetation Management Using Herbicides for the City of Eugene will be accepted by the Purchasing Office until Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 2:30 PM. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter and publicly read aloud in a Microsoft Teams meeting. Bids will not be accepted after the bid closing time and date. Bids shall be valid for 60 days after opening unless otherwise specified in the bid specifications. This Invitation to Bid does not commit the City to pay any costs incurred by any bidder in the submission of a bid.
Project Description
In general, work includes providing vegetation management services to remove or control non-native or undesirable plant species by applying herbicide in City-owned natural areas or on properties owned by other agencies managed in partnership with the City. The City intends to establish one or more one-year contracts, with four optional one-year extensions, as a result of this solicitation.
