The purpose of this project is to make multi-modal improvements to OR126B (Franklin Blvd.) to bring the facility up to urban standards and to improve the safety and operations of the transportation system for all users. This project includes Phase 2 of the overall hybrid multi-way boulevard. The multi-way boulevard includes dedicated facilities for bicycles and pedestrians, roundabouts, entry treatments to the City of Springfield, storm water treatment, landscaping, decorative roadway and pedestrian level lighting, and improved EmX bus rapid transit facilities.
