SCOPE OF WORK AND BID SUBMITTAL:

Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the construction of the Beemer Way Outfall Repair (CI 22-007) project for the City of Oregon City, Oregon will be received by Erik Nichols, Project Manager, at the Oregon City Engineering and Operations Center, 13895 Fir Street – 2nd Floor, Oregon City, Oregon until 2 PM local time on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Bids received after this time will not be considered. All bids received prior to the due date and time will be publicly opened and read on the due date and time at the location bids are received.

The project includes:

  1. Installation of temporary storm water management and erosion control measures
  2. Removal of existing debris, stockpiles and concrete headwall
  3. Removal of existing trees
  4. Installation of fill in channel area and riprap channel installation
  5. Installation of Rock Buttressing on steep slopes
  6. Reconstruction of existing concrete headwall
  7. Installation of Gabion Wall
  8. Installation of private utility connections for adjacent property and structure
  9. Natural Resource Mitigation Plantings
  10. In water work permitted through DEQ and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) – See Appendix for DEQ Permit, USACE Permit forthcoming. In water work period for in channel repairs to be limited to July 15 – August 31st.
  11. Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans
  12. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the project site 14010 Beemer Way, Oregon City, OR. Statements made at the conference are not binding on the city unless confirmed by a written addendum.

OBTAINING SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS:

Solicitation documents are also available for review at the City of Oregon City, Public Works Department, 13895 Fir Street, Oregon City, Oregon 97045 (telephone: 971-204-4601), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.

Addenda, clarifications and notices will be distributed through this online planholder system; if you are not registered to be a planholder it will preclude you from receiving addenda. Potential bidders are responsible for ensuring contact information is registered correctly and that email updates are being received and not being sent to spam folders. It is in the best interest of potential bidders to check this website periodically to ensure all updates are received.
