Meek Street Pipe Installation North Phase

Bids due 2:00 pm – June 28, 2023

Sealed bids for Meek Street Pipe Installation North Phase will be received at the City of Milwaukie Engineering Department Office located at 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206 until 2:00 p.m. on June 28, 2023, at which time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read, via online videoconference. Bids received after 2:00 p.m. shall not be considered.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:

Install approximately 3,850 lineal feet of Storm Sewer Pipe.
Install approximately 13 Storm Sewer Manholes.
Construction one (1) stormwater management facility, approximately 25,000 square feet
Realignment of 4 sanitary sewer conflicts
Replacement of approximately 200 lineal feet of existing waterline.
Perform additional and Incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.

All work from STA 28+88.19 to STA 38+44.27 is to be completed by March 31, 2024. The remainder of the project is to be completed by October 31, 2024.

An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on June 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the City of Milwaukie Community Development Office located at 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206.

The Contract Documents may be examined at http://bids.milwaukieoregon.gov/ . Interested parties will need to create a free login account to view contract documents. The account will be used to notify plan holders of any addenda throughout the bidding process.

All bids shall be submitted on the furnished Bid Submission Packet in a sealed envelope plainly identifying the project name, project number, bid opening time and date, bidder’s name, and contractor’s license number. Sealed bids shall be addressed to City of Milwaukie, Engineering Department, 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206. All bids shall be submitted in the prescribed form and said manner as indicated in the Information for Bidders. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond executed in favor of the City of Milwaukie in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Bidders shall be pre-qualified with the Oregon Department of Transportation, in the Class of Work as appropriate prior to the public opening and reading of the bids.

The Engineers Estimate ranges from $3,350,000 to $3,908,000.

No bid will be considered unless the bid contains, or is accompanied by, a statement by the bidder that the provisions required by ORS 279C.838 or ORS 279C.840, as applicable, pertaining to prevailing wages, shall be included as part of the Contract.
