Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.



The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following:



Domestic Water Heater “Brain” replacement for B201A



VA SORCC, 8495 Crater Lake Hgwy, White City, OR 97503



Provide materials, equipment, and labor for the installation of a DRV80 BRIAN/DIG 2nd Generation pack (165 GPM@ 10PSID, 3”) or compatible equivalent to an existing Armstrong Domestic Water Heater at the location shown above. Include all mechanical, electrical, and other appurtenances to result in complete, programmed, tested and commissioned system, including (within reason) components locally influenced at the water heater.



Provide training and manuals to Facility Maintenance Services (FMS) staff (pipe fitting).



Provide additional materials loose to FMS piping fitting (extra parts):




  1. Screw Pack (Qty – 1)

  2. Seal Pack (Qty- 1)

  3. Stepper Motor (Qty – 1)



Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment with installation are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via email to Alan Perez at Alan.Perez@va.gov no later than May 24th, 2023, 3PM Eastern. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.



RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; capability statement and if the services are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 561210 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Alan Perez via email.
