Solicitation 36C26024R0017 for project 648-24-102 Correct Fire Sprinkler Deficiencies for the Portland VA Healthcare System shall be posted to Federal Contracting Opportunities on or about 15 April 2024. Drawings and specs will be posted for review as attachments to the solicitation. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the solicitation is posted.
Period of Performance:
The intended contract period of performance is 150 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.
Description of Services:
The VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS) seeks a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, commissioning, supervision, and all other resources necessary to perform services required for the following work:
Replace parts of 8 fire sprinkler main located in Energy Center Building 100.
Replace all the fire hydrants on the Portland campus.
Replace dry sprinkler heads in outside covered areas of Building 100 and 101.
Replace fire sprinkler valves located in Building 100, B1C-118.
Replace fire sprinkler valves located in Building 6, Room 115.
Work for this project will take place at the Portland VA Medical Center located at 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Rd., Portland, OR 97239.
IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.

238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the small business size standard is $19.0 million (January 2022 standards).
