Description

The Willamette National Forest is soliciting proposals from interested parties for one (1) or two (2) campground concession special use permit(s) (SUP) to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities. The new SUP will replace the current concession permits which expire on December 31, 2023.



One (1) or two (2) permits will be issued for government-owned recreation facilities located on the Detroit, Sweet Home, McKenzie River, and Middle Fork Ranger Districts, within the Willamette National Forest. The Forest will likely complete the application evaluation and make a selection in mid to late fall of 2023, with the intention of the successful applicant beginning operations on January 1, 2024.



The offering includes a total of 52 sites with an average gross revenue of $1,572,852. The North Zone includes 25 sites with an average gross revenue of $771,059. The South Zone includes 27 sites with an average gross revenue of $801,792.
