This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interested small businesses that have a large enough foundry to self-perform this scope of work due to the Government oversight and potential reworking required as a result of each inspection that is historically been needed. The Government intends to use responses to this sources sought notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project.

The Contractor shall cast, treat, machine and deliver 3 each Port and 4 each Starboard OSDP Impellers. The impellers will serve as replacement spares which are paramount for the Dredge Essayons Port and Starboard Main Dredge Pumps which in turn are central to the dredging system in accordance with the draft performance work statement (PWS), which are attached to this notice. The impeller shall be delivered to the USACE District Warehouse located in Portland, Oregon.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District is seeking small business sources that have a large enough foundry to self-perform this scope of work under NAICS Code 332999 - All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750.

*NOTE: The cost of shipping/delivery will be the responsibility of the vendor due to the size of these components.

The Government anticipates awarding One (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract.

The impellers shall be delivered to the USACE District Warehouse within 120 calendar days of contract award. Provide a minimum of 10 days for final government inspection.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE

3. State the category of small business, such as 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, or SDVOSB.

4. Statement of Capability (SOC)

a. Statement of your skills, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type.

b. Recent and relevant experience within the last five (5) years providing janitorial services for offices similar in scope and size to the attached draft PWS.

The Government intends to advertise a solicitation for this project on or around 14 August 2023. At this time, a solicitation does not exist; therefore, offers shall not be accepted. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor SAM.Gov (www.SAM.Gov) for release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice.
