Description

A FLIR M400 is essential for this project due to its unique capabilities:

● Advanced Imaging Quality: High-resolution thermal and visible-light imaging is crucial for accurately identifying and quantifying marine predators.

● Stabilization Features: The camera's stabilization is critical for clear imaging in marine environments where motion and instability are common.

● Thermal Vision Capability: Essential for near-continuous recording, including night-time or low visibility observations, a period not feasible for traditional observational studies.

● Durability and Reliability: Designed for harsh marine environments, ensuring consistent performance under varying weather and sea conditions.
