The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (CENWD) – Seattle District (CENWS) is conducting a VIRTUAL Industry Day event on upcoming project requirements for the DVA Roseburg Seismic Upgrade & Renovations at Oregon on Wednesday, 11 January 2023, from 0900 AM to 1100 (Pacific Standard Time (PST)).

CENWS intends to collaborate with industry as we prepare the acquisition planning and solicitations on several projects for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) Roseburg campus, Oregon.

The purpose of the virtual event is for the Government to provide an update and overview of the Roseburg program. We understand the importance to the construction industry to have advance knowledge of projects.

The webinar will take approximately one-hour where the Government will present information and invite industry to share observations and concerns. This project plans to use both Design Build and Design Bid Build acquisition strategies for the various phases of the project. Tentative solicitation dates range from 4Q FY 2025 for Phase 1 and 4Q FY2026 for Phase 2.

NAICS Code: 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million.

Project Synopsis:

The VA Roseburg campus program currently includes two (2) interrelated projects:

• Phase 1 – Construction of a new Outpatient Clinic (Building 100).


• Phase 2 – Seismic Upgrade and Renovation of buildings 2 & 1AC.
