Description

United States Department (USDA) of Agriculture Forest Service Procurement and Property Services Special Projects Operation Center Northwest Branch is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify small businesses as having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for:



Four (4) Electric Carts:



The electric carts must have 36-volt, payload, 1500 lb. tow capacity,4000 lbs. range of 24 miles, turning radius (prefer it to be tight but can get by with more) dimensions 48 in; bed size 44 x 65 inches, carry 2 people, compatible charge to standard 120 V, and have steel frame and body. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.



The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336999 GROUND EFFECT VEHICLES and the Classification Code assigned is PSC 2305 All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This is a request for capability information and does not constitute a request for quote. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Federal Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS. USDA anticipates a firm fixed-price contract awarded on an all-or-none basis. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
