The project involves transport of trees from various staging sites (elevation 1,100 –2,300 feet above sea level) to sites near the North Fork Willamette River and Middle Fork Willamette River, destinations ranging from about 0.1 to 2.0 miles from staging sites. Tree and log weights are estimated at an average of 6,000 pounds and a maximum of 9,000 pounds. Tree and log lengths range from 25 to 45 feet long.
