SYNOPSIS



**THIS PROCUREMENT IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.**



The purpose of this acquisition is to procure Furniture replacement and install Services



for the General Services Administration located at Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Federal Building, 1220 SW 3rd Ave, Portland OR 97204.



This project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of tabletops (not entire table) and chairs:



Tabletops




  • Contractor shall remove the exiting 53 damaged tabletops. The exiting tilt bases are to be reused with the new tabletops installed.

  • Contractor shall provide qty. 53 new 30” x 60” solid table surfaces and adapt the hardware to fit the existing tilt top bases.

  • New tops shall have a rigid water-resistant core material such as MDF or plywood allowing the routing of an edge groove for T-molding. Chipboard is not an acceptable product.

  • Core material shall be 1” (25mm) to match existing thickness.

  • New tabletop edges shall be routed and grooved to accept a replaceable rubber TMold that is readily available in standard sizing. The molding manufacturer, part number, and color codes shall be provided.

  • The laminate surface to the rigid core system shall be a high performance and high-pressure laminate (HPL).

  • HPL manufacturer shall have 5 years’ experience in manufacturing the selected product.

  • The HPL shall be a solid sheet matching the size of the rigid core to show a continuous solid surface and be a minimum of 1mm in thickness.

  • The contractor shall apply the HPL according to the manufacturer's instructions to the rigid core material including proper set and application times.

  • Laminate surface must have a 1-year limited warranty on the HPL product applied and 3-year warranty for any application issues on bonding to the substrate.

  • Selected product color is Galao, WX0075-AB or equal / Aged Bark to match interior design in conference rooms for reference.

  • Vendor is to fabricate, deliver, and install the new tops onto the existing tilt bases

  • on-site. Including removal of existing top and all hardware modifications.

  • The awarded supply vendor shall have a local service representative capable of

  • making edge repairs, adjustments, hardware repair / replacement, and capable of

  • resolving any issues during or after warranty.



Chairs




  • All chairs are to be new from manufacture for a total of 235 chairs.

  • Chairs shall have a perforated polypropylene back.

  • Chairs seat shall be upholstered with a minimum of grade 5, 100% EPU polyurethane material.

  • Material shall be stain, wear, tear, and scratch resistant.

  • Material shall be GREENGUARD certified and PVC free for reducing environmental impact.

  • Seat material shall be cleanable with multiple types of cleaning agents including bleach and capable of routine wipe downs with COVID 19 cleaners including OXIVIR TB without showing discoloration or fading.

  • Material must have a durability rating of 1,000,000 double rubs

  • Material shall be flame resistant to meet UFAC Class 1; NFPA 260 Class 1 requirements.

  • Product researched is Momentum Endurance and color chosen is Bisque. Any other products will require submittals and approvals for performance and color.

  • Chairs shall be armless design and stackable up to 5 high without use of a dolly.

  • Chairs shall have 4 separate legs, each with a replaceable carpet rated caster.

  • Legs shall be metal tubing with a metal-colored finish such as grey, silver, or titanium. No Chrome.







This procurement is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 337214 Office Furniture Manufacturing, PSC is 7110, with a size standard of $1,100 employees. This is a firm fixed price lowest price technically acceptable procurement. Quotes will be evaluated on price and nonprice factors.





The solicitation is available 5/25/2023 and can be downloaded through the System for Award Management (SAM) (sam.gov) website. All interested vendors must be registered with this website in order to download the solicitation and amendments. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring SAM for amendments and/or additional information. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.



All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), located at www.sam.gov, in order to be considered for award.
