The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or around November 12, 2023.
52.215-3 - Request for Information for Solicitation for Planning Purposes (OCT 1997)
(a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-8, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
(b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in the Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal or quote.
(c) This solicitation is issued or the purpose of gathering information to explore the variations of temporary bunkhouse options in the commercial market, customarily available in the commercial marketplace with modifications.

Requirements

Total Requirements
- Provide total space for up to 20 individuals

Connect to existing RV utility hookups for water, electrical, and sewer.
- Must Not require gas/propane

Must fit the available spaces at TLJC. A maximum of 7 existing RV pad spaces.

- All sites could site a 40’ trailer; some could fit a 53’ trailer.

- Must be mobile, non-permanent structure.

Individual Unit Requirements
-
Living space for two individuals, with sufficient personal space for each person.
- Minimum of 200 square feet of usable space.
- Sleeping space to accommodate at least two, separate individual twin-sized beds.
- Personal storage space for each individual; could be a closet or locker space sufficient to hold work clothes and off-duty civilian clothes and personal items.

Plumbing to support:
- Full kitchen: sink, cook top, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave.
- Full bathroom: shower, toilet, sink, and toiletries storage.
- Access doors and windows must have key locks.

Electrical system to support:
- Independent HVAC system.
- Independent water heater.
- Interior lighting and electrical outlets in each bedroom, Kitchen, and bathroom.
- Exterior security lighting by access points (doors).
- Construction, insulation, electrical, plumbing, and sewage components must meet Oregon Building Codes for occupied structures.
