This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. (Request for Quotation ) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ciruclar 2023-02. This procurment is set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 561210 and the small business size standard is 47,000,000. The United States Forest Service, Corvallis Laboratory, located at 3200 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis Oregon 97331 requires the "5 year" Maintenance, repair and certification of its fire suppression system. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The successful offeror shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and transportation, in accordance with the attached statement of work. Potential contractors shall know and follow all applicable laws and regulations. Contractor must hold all applicapble certifications and present such if requested. Maintenance and repair is to include but is not limited to all items identified in the attached inspection report. Should the potential contractor find any additional deficiencies that are not identified in the inspection report they shall be responsible for their maintenance and repair. This is a firm fixed price contract. Offerors shall be responsible for reading the post in its entirety.

*** Ammendment SITE VISIT: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after Contract award. The Government is not planning a pre-proposal conference. It is the offerors responsibility to view the work location. Please contact technical representative listed below to schedule a site visit. A site visit will be conducted at 10:00am on May 23, 2023 please email David Oldenburg at david.oldenburg@usda.gov to inform him you would like to participate.

No questions shall be asked/answered during the site visit. Any all questions must be submitted in writing to Rochelle Infante, Rochelle.Infante@usda.gov the COR will conduct the site visit. Contractors are reminded that only the contracting officer has the ability to change or affect anything in this solicitation. Any changes or modifications to this solicitation will be made in writing by the Contracting Officer and posted for all offerors/quoters to view.

Quoters must acknowledge any and all ammendments to this solicitation when submitting a quote.
