4th St and Dunham Ave Improvements

Contractors are invited to bid on the construction of the 4th St and Dunham Ave Improvement Project, located between 3rd Street and Broadway in the City of Veneta, Oregon. The Project primarily consists of roadway and utility improvements at 4th Street and Dunham Avenue including asphalt surfacing, subgrade reconstruction, concrete sidewalks, new ADA ramps and parking area, stormwater system improvements, and street lighting appurtenances.
Sealed bids will be received by Kyle Schauer, Public Works Director, at 88184 8th Street, P.O. Box 458, Veneta, Oregon 97487 at or before 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020 and shall be opened with staff present only at that location immediately upon closing. Bid results will be emailed to prime bidders that same afternoon.
This contract is for a public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 relating to the payment of prevailing wages. No prequalification will be required for this Project. The terms, conditions and specifications for this Project (Project Documents) may be examined at the City of Veneta (City) office located at 88184 8th Street, Veneta, OR 97487, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday until June 30, 2020. The Project Documents will be available at this location and are downloadable from the City website at http://www.venetaoregon.gov/ from the date of this Notice until July 1, 2020. Copies may be obtained from Branch Engineering, located at 310 5th Street, Springfield for a non-refundable fee of $50.00.
