Opportunity Summary
This project will prepare a climate change vulnerability assessment for transportation infrastructure and an Agency adaptation plan. Extreme weather and climate change present major challenges to the Oregon Department of Transportation's ("ODOT") mission of providing a safe and reliable transportation system.

To be responsive, ODOT requires a statewide assessment of where transportation infrastructure and assets are most vulnerable to extreme weather and projected climate impacts. The intent of this project is to develop strategies to prioritize resilience investments and methods for integrating climate considerations into project planning, design, and other decision-making. ODOT also needs to build collaborative buy-in across the agency that is necessary to establish communication, agree on areas of greatest risk, priority actions, and methods for tracking implementation.
