The purpose of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to establish a Contract for the purchase of seasonal certification services for certifying Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) air quality inspection staff to read opacity as per EPA Method 9, Visual Determination of the Opacity of Emissions from Stationary Sources, including all equipment and worksheets necessary. DEQ estimates that 20-25 employees need certification bi-annually in order to maintain continuous certification.
