Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires the purchase of generator spares to support future general repairs at sea.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-00223 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08.
(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 335312 – Motor and Generator Manufacturing. This solicitation is being posted as a small business set aside with a small business size limit of 1250 employees.

(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The NOAA ship Fairweather requires the purchase of generator spares to support future general repairs at sea. Quotes should include shipping/freight cost to the delivery destination and expected timeframe for delivery.
(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination delivery is required no later than 12/31/2022 to: NOAA Ship Fairweather, 2002 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365
